Hola! My name is Yolanda González and I am a Holistic Latina, Licensed Clinical Social Worker, and International Relationship Coach.
For a long time, I always joked about writing a book titled "What Not To Do".
Having made so many mistakes in life and facing the consequences of my many poor decisions, I often felt defeated but always picked myself back up until the day I couldn’t.
Feeling lost and confused, I decided I was going to do whatever it took to help myself and secretly decided to seek the help of a professional.
I was quickly diagnosed with depression.
I embraced the idea of going to therapy and allowed myself to be vulnerable.
After a few sessions, I was able to breathe again.
What I learned;
The work I did with my therapist was so profound that I became a therapist!
Today, I get to utilize all of my life experiences, education, and training with you!
For over 20 years I have worked with individuals and families helping them improve their lives, through community counseling programs, educational workshops, and volunteering.
In 2016 I began working as a clinician providing in-home therapy to families in crisis helping my clients with a wide range of concerns including life transitions, PTSD, depression, anxiety, domestic abuse, family conflicts, relationship issues, and more.
In 2019, feeling like something was missing from traditional cognitive therapy methods, I immersed myself in the field of energy psychology and spirituality.
I became certified in Hypnosis, EFT, Matrix & Reiki. Allowing me to genuinely empower my clients using holistic techniques; incorporating the mind, body, heart, and soul.
In 2020 I founded the Holistic Counseling Center, catering to adults on their healing journey.
I began noticing a trend in my private practice.
Most of my clients were amazing individuals who were fully functional and highly successful in their careers but were experiencing symptoms of anxiety and or depression due to relationship issues.
That is why today, I specialize in helping individuals improve relationships by recognizing patterns, understanding the origin, releasing what does not serve them, and making lasting change.

"Yolanda has consistently created a space that has allowed me the comfort of being vulnerable, to share, and to be open to exploring my thoughts, emotions, and experiences. She has challenged me to think more critically and dig deeper to address what comes up in sessions at a pace that I appreciate. Therapy isn't linear. No matter what the focus of each session is, she has provided support, techniques to practice in and out of sessions, and remains accessible should I ever need additional support between sessions. I've been in and out of therapy over the years and know it can be incredibly difficult to identify a therapist who is able to address your needs and that you truly connect with - also to find someone who understands societal, environmental, and cultural factors. I am so appreciative to have found these with her." -

"Yolanda has been a fantastic therapist and blessing on my life journey. Through my time as her client, I give a lot of credit to Yolanda's aid through a difficult yet transitive time in my life. My life truly transformed over the last year and a half, and I credit the consistent work I have done through Yolanda's guidance, which includes EFT tapping and other methods of healing. I have been able to unpack and work through difficult traumas that I once believed to be a permanent burden on my life and have been able to find a new freedom. Yolanda maintains the highest regard of professionalism without sacrificing care, a quintessential skill for an excellent therapist. She is truly invaluable."

"Yolanda is truly a gem. I googled her to find a therapist for a friend and she has been such an effective, talented and caring therapist to my friend as well as to me. She works with different modalities to utilize the tools that each client best responds to. She is bilingual Spanish/English and in tune with clients culturally as well. I felt at ease with her nurturing, humorous yet focused, authentic self. I cannot recommend Yolanda enough!"

"As a front line health care worker who was really struggling after working in a hot spot during the peak of the pandemic in my area, I knew I needed help. A good friend recommended better help. As a night shift worker whose schedule varies from week to week, the texting format Is a huge asset. I was skeptical of ‘being assigned’ a therapist, but Better help’s algorithm paired me with a perfect fit. Yolanda Gonzalez is wonderful! I wouldn’t be on track like I am without her guidance. She is professional, she is kind, she is patient and challenges me to break down my barriers and be more present. I highly highly recommend her."
